Sunday working hours
On July 1st, the amended Trade Act comes into effect in Croatia, which means that not every Sunday will be a working day for stores anymore. In the initial months of implementing the amended law, there won’t be many changes in the largest shopping mall in Istria, as Max City will remain open daily until the end of September – from Monday to Sunday, from 9 am to 10 pm.
Starting from October, certain facilities in Max City, such as Cinestar cinema, Twister playroom, Automat Club Silver, Maximilian and Burger Max BMX restaurants, and Yes, Cookie, and Barbados bars, will continue to operate daily. However, during the autumn-winter period, stores will only open on specific Sundays.
Below you can check on which Sundays, from October 1st until the end of the year, you will be able to shop in Max City, allowing you to plan your shopping weekends in advance:
